Today it rained which is not odd in sunny Florida. It's normal for an afternoon shower most days. The thing about today's shower that was odd was that in less than an hour we had a flooded street.
It didn't stay flooded long. In fact it drained within 30 minutes but my kids had a lot of checking the mail. They've already made plans for the next time. I'm sure I overheard something about a mermaid and a pirate ship. Crazy kids.
