Last night I sat down to put my stack of completed layouts into page protectors and albums and while I was working on it I realised that I scrapped the same picture twice. (sigh) The top one I made in Feb and I honestly had totally forgotten about it.
I like the second one better. I think its the big Heidi swapp flowers I bought in the MBI store. Or maybe it's the pink, or the cool patterned paper.... I just like it more. It's interesting to see how differently I could scrap one picture.

TAG I'm it!
GQZmommy tagged me. This is my first tag. I'm so excited.
What was I doing 10 years ago.... I was enjoying a great summer vacation and planning for my senior year of high school. From what I remember of it was a lot of fun and A LOT of DRAMA.
Five things on today's to do list... bank, winn dixie, clean the kitchen, cook dinner, and scrap. The kitchen is a mess, the pantry is empty, and we had pizza for dinner. (SIGH)Tomorrow's a new day.
Snacks I enjoy...Almond Joy, Twix, popcorn, sliced apples, and Diet Dr Pepper in a can.
Things I would do if I was a millionaire... buy a new house here on the beach and a house in NW Arkansas so I could be close to my family and the Razorbacks. I would open a scrapbook store so I could have whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it.
Wow. That was all very selfish self-centered things. I'm a little ashamed of myself on that one. I would support some charities too, I'm sure but that wasn't my first thought. I said I was ashamed.
Places I have lived... Lavaca AR, Russellville AR, Palm Bay FL
There you go there are my answers. Now it's my turn to tag some bloggers. Let me when you've posted your answers so I can check them out.

Safety Tats for Kids
I saw an article about these safety tattoos today in a magazine. They are temporary tattoos that you design yourself on their website with your name and phone number. If you have kids that are too young to remember their phone number you can place one on their arm, back, where ever before visiting the zoo, theme park, etc. If you become separated then the employees could call you directly.
Here's the link. Check 'em out.... http://www.safetytat.com/

missing football
I wouldn't say that I'm a big football fan but I do enjoy watching a game a few times a month. I did, however, marry into a HUGE football family. My in laws have had a fantasy football league for like 13 years and I think I'm married to the biggest football fan in the world. He's not just a fan of his Hogs and Chargers but he's just a fan of the game in general. He knows as much about the other teams as his own.
Every summer we go through a withdrawal period. I think it's started. I'm waiting for his count downs to begin. 000 days til the first pre-season game...000 days until the first Charger game....000 days until the first regular season game....000 days until the fantasy draft....
He's already mentioned taking the kids to a high school game. I'm sure his plan is that if they make it through the game well then a NFL game may be in the future. I think Braden could make it through a game and might even enjoy parts of it. I don't think Ashlyn would make it past kick off. I guess I can't blame him for trying though!

More Pretty Things
I guess I have a new time killer. I've spent my down time this weekend browsing Etsy. There are so many extremely talented people in this world. Etsy doesn't have just cool handmade items. There are a lot of vintage goodies for there too. Like these really cute vintage flower brooches from the 60s/70s. They are so bright and fun. I love them. I don't know if I would actually wear them as a brooch but one would be cute pinned onto my beach bag.
Here's the link to the Etsy shop if you want to browse the selection yourself. They have lots of different colors... from black to white and every color in between. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5758956
What would you do with one of these flowers?

Something pretty
Aren't these rosettes pretty? I love them. They are made with paper. What a cute way to recycle my many pieces of scrap. I'll have to give this a try or... I could just buy some of these cute ones. I found these on etsy.com. They are in lizzie bean's shop. I love love love them. Here's the link if you want to see all her cute rosettes. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5084273
I think they would be really cute mounted individually and hung together in a group. I may pick out a few of them for my daughters room. They would also be great to use instead of a bow on a gift. My hubby is reading over my shoulder as I type this. Men just don't appreciate pretty little things.

Reflective Scrapbooking
It's fun reflecting on the past. All you scrappers should dig through your old photos and do a reflective page. I think the journaling is always better reflective pages. When I'm scrapping a recent picture a lot of the details seem trivial and I don't emphasis them too much (if at all). When I revisit the event later I have a clear view of what really was important to my and my family.
If you do a reflective page link me up so I can see it!

Flower Power
My wonderful mother-in-law brought me a pack of these Prima flowers the other day. They are amazing. She picked them up somewhere out of town. I love love love them! I must find more. They have a cool embossed edge.
I think the 4 layered bloom on the bottom is my favorite but they all are very pretty. More is just always better right? ;)

On the Beach
We had a great time at the beach Thursday. I took the kids earlier this year but this is the first time this year the whole family ventured out. Sad huh? We haven't enjoyed the area perks very much this year. We'll have to do a better job with that.
It was a normal beach day for our family. Braden stayed in the water the whole time. He loves the waves and is really getting brave. I think we'll buy him a board soon. He'll be cute riding the waves. Ashlyn wanted nothing to do with the water as normal. She spent the whole time filling up her bucket with shells and sand and dumping it out to start over again. After about an hour she announced that she was "done". She's just still not a beach baby yet.

A robot, a dragon, and a cat
I feel like I have to redecorate my house every night before bed because the accessories are never in the right room. A few nights ago after baths, and a long long LONG bedtime routine, I walked into the kitchen to find ...... a robot, a dragon, and a cat. That son of mine has such an imagination. I actually left these guys for another day. They made me smile.

Card Fever
I guess I have it! Card Fever that is. I made these 3 a few days ago. I like the anniversary card a lot. It turned out really really cute. I wonder if I will remember to give it to my hubby come anniversary time. I can admit my flaws. And sending out cards is a big HUGE one. I just always forget.
If you make cards don't forget to check out the guest designer contest at MBI. The link directly to the thread is one post down! Check it out.
